Oh man, we finally made it to my fiance’s parent’s house in central Iowa. For those of you in warmer climates (BRITT, SAM!) it snowed about 5inches last night, in the middle of us being on the interstate. I was gripping the car door the entire time!

At any rate, posts will be a bit staggered for the next few days while I partake in lots of eating holiday fun. But, since it’s Friday, it’s time to take a look at that scale! I apologize for showing my knobby bubble-toes last time – I left my socks on this time ;) Please note that I tried to take the focus off of the GROSS dirtiness of the scale with the super classy Christmas lights.

Highest Weight : 310.0 lbs

Loss This Week : .4 lbs

Total Loss : 41.6 lbs

Eh, I gotta admit – I saw this coming. I still love to see ANY kind of loss on the scale, but this is definitely not as much as I would like to see. Maybe I’ll blame it on using the MIL’s scale? or water weight? or my socks? Yeah, I’m not buying it either.

How I felt this week : Last week was a 5. I was so preoccupied with getting ready for the holidays, that I definitely did not eat as well as I could have. We even had Casey’s pizza last night, and I’m pretty sure my breakfast this morning was 3 Christmas cookies. :)

Goals for next week : I’m not going to let it get me in a rut – there’s a recumbent bike about 4 feet away from me, and my #DecGTD chart to still rock before the end of the month! After we get home, my goal is to really commit to start weighing out food again and cooking for the week on Sundays. This did WONDERS for me a few months ago, and I don’t know why I ever stopped.

Seriously, how perfect is Jennifer Aniston? Healthy is the new skinny, people! This woman definitely in my top 5 of “oh-gosh-i-wish-i-looked-like-her.” And mostly because of her killer yoga skills and toned arms. *droooool*

I was hoping to make this segment just pictures of myself at my best (so I can focus on ME, not being someone else) but since I’m at the MIL’s the only photo of me on this computer is one from three years ago making a pig face on the Photo Booth setting. Not. So. Inspirational. ;)

    I only weight myself on my scale. And only after I’ve peed. And fed Sylvia. And pumped. And before I’ve had anything to eat. Or drink. And only at the same time of day. It’s quite the ordeal.

      You make me smile, Katie It’s true. I usually do the same thing. How many things can I do to lose another .01lb before I weigh? fart? ;) hahaha
