Oh Gwynnie Bee, you never let me down!

Lets look past those little back-rolls that can easily be smoothed by some spanx, shall we? Seriously, how CUTE is this dress? It is stretchy, comfortable, and (obviously) sassy as HECK!

The dress is by Trixxie, which you can find at Macy’s (also in blue!). I’m king of dying because it’s on sale for $35 right now, marked down from $69. Such a steal! I love the color block and the bold black stripes. It really accentuates a plus-size figure perfectly. I want this hanging in my closet, now! Sadly I returned it to Gwynnie Bee this morning, but maaaan. What a keeper.

 

Another favorite from this week’s shipment was a fun striped number by Eloquii:

This dress was a little weird to me at first. The was afraid the stripes would be super unflattering, but they seemed to work. I liked the diagonal direction in the lower-half, which wrapped to a black bow on the side. The glorious bathroom lighting doesn’t do it much justice. I loved how relaxed the fit was. I’m up and down all day at work, so being in an outfit that’s easy to move in is KEY.

Other than some fun fashion, this week has been a blur! Getting up every morning for Body Revolution has definitely made a difference in my energy level. I’m really excited to post my thoughts for you this Sunday on week one! I’m excited to see that the scale has moved (in the right direction!) and I’m feeling strong (and sore) and energized. Exercise makes you feel good? Pffft, who knew?

Tomorrow two of my friends from high school are coming over to visit us. I’m excited to play a few games of Catan (nerd alert!) and jam out. My friend Emily has an AMAZING voice. It’s always such a blast to rock out with her.
