Fitness

Fitness isn’t about being the skinniest, the fastest, or the strongest. For me, it’s about proving worth to myself. I am worth the sweat and tears and doing my best every day to be healthy and active. I may never complete a triathlon (or even want to), but I’ll be chasing my daughter. I’ll be doing things (hiking, yoga, not obsessing over food) I previously told myself were unattainable because of “being fat.” Being fit = honoring my body, whatever size that may be!

Fitness Goals

My Fitness Goals are what keep me motivated when that 4:00am alarm goes off. (To the tune of “All I do is Win.” Word.) Some are weight-related, but most revolve around challenging myself to be better than I was yesterday. I’m a list-maker; expect the list to grow and grow!

Progress + Pictures

The Progress + Pictures page details where I’m currently at on my weight-loss journey. I know that success isn’t just a number on the scale, so you’ll also find current body measurement progress as well as pictures. Even though I weigh in weekly, (which is included on my Daily Workout Log) I have switched over to monthly weigh-ins/wrap ups for my blog posts. On my progress page, you’ll find a complete history of my weigh-ins, in chronological order.

Daily Workout Log

My Daily Workout Log is a new way for me to keep accountable for all my workouts. (Inspired by Julie from Peanut Butter Fingers.) You can visit this page to see what I’m up to on the activity-front, organized by week in a list format. I’ll also provide links within the list when appropriate.
