There’s something kind of magical about today.
I woke up right when my alarm went of (4:30am), busted my butt with Jillian, shot the vlog that’s in today’s post, curled my hair, made breakfast, and walked out the door feeling good. More than good, GREAT.
Mornings where everything goes exactly according to plan are few and far between in my house (hello, two-year old tornado) but everything just clicked today! Part of this is because Adam switched shifts, and now works at night. It is going to be amazing for our family! Now I have an extra hand in the mornings and we have more time together during the week. We went from seeing each other (literally) 30 min per day to around 2 hours! I know that’s still pretty ridiculous-sounding, but I’m thrilled. :)
Now, let’s get down to business, shall we?

Can you tell I was dying a little during that vlog? I cannot believe how many calories I burned during today’s set, and I was definitely NOT able to do everything! This week is going to be killer. I”m not going to lie to you – I’m a little terrified. Throughout the entire workout today Jillian kept saying “Oh, these SUCK. You are going to HATE ME.” True story, Jillian, true story. ;)
Woo! In the past 30 days, I’ve lost 7.2lbs and 16.5 inches overall!
I’m thrilled with the results. THRILLED. I have a terrible time trying to lose weight (I’m in the midst of a million hormone/metabolism tests to figure this out) so seeing this progress is concrete proof to me that Body Revolution is a life-changing program. I cannot even fathom where I’ll be at the 90 day end! (I’m waiting to take more pictures until the end)
I did see some inch gain this time around, which I highlighted in light gray. This is a direct result of gaining muscle, but not burning fat, because of my poor eating choices last week. Nighttime snacking (on cheese of all things!) got the best of me. I’m four days into Meatless March and feeling fantastic about my food choices.
Here’s hoping I can take today’s magical feeling and rock the rest of this week! Onward and downward friends, we’ve got this!
